Well, I know it's been a while...
Nov. 21st, 2008 10:30 amWell, I know it's been a while since my last post, but I can't believe it's been that long! I know I said that I wouldn't be using this much, but I'd like to try and do this more often, especially since I like reading other peoples' journals, (I figure, that's why they're publically online, right?) Also, since my last posts were so angsty, I figure it's about time to inject a little happiness into it. I'm not really a miserable person, really I'm not.
Anyway, I have got some noteworthy news for once. My mom's friend is going to Puerto Rico for Thanksgiving week, and we're taking in her chiwawa for the week. I'm not sure how it'll go, for a few reasons, but at least it should be interesting.
A. We have a dog, who can be unpredictable around other dogs, although she isn't usually a problem.
B. I'm not sure whether my uncle, who lives downstairs from us, knows the situation, and he can be very animal unfriendly at times. If the dog, (We still don't know it's name or gender.), were staying in Mom's room, I'd just let her deal with it. She says however that he's staying in my room, and that kind of makes me feel like a Beaver-like kid in one of those family values shows. You know, the kind that takes in a pet, hides it in their room, and lies about it?
C. My great aunt, who can be a little iffy herself, is coming next week to spend Thanksgiving with us, and I don't know if she knows what's going on either.
Apart from some other small things which are natural whenever planning out new living arangements, I'm actually very excited about this! Unfortunately, my grandmother was once bitten by a chiwawa, so I'm ashamed to say she raised me a bit chiwawa-prejudice. The first time I saw a chiwawa though was at a Halloween party just this year. I was sitting on the couch, and it just climbed up into my lap and walked around, sniffing and licking me. It was sooo cute and friendly! I love all animals, especially small cute ones! I'll keep everyone, everyone who's reading this that is, posted. I'll try to come on here once a day at least, but no promises.
'Til later,
Kathy
